About the Pre-HSE Prep Program

Many High School Equivalency (HSE) Prep classes require you to be at a 9th-grade reading and math level. At ICD’s Pre-HSE Prep Program, we’ll help you build your skills and prepare you to earn the GED® credential.

In the program, students build foundational knowledge through hands-on learning in the following areas:

  • Math

  • Science

  • Reading

  • Writing

  • Social Studies

In addition to academic instruction, students receive one-on-one counseling, as well as group-based work readiness training through workshops.

ICD’s Pre-HSE Prep also offers the GED® Ready mock exam – a test that can be taken at home or at ICD to boost your confidence and help you manage any stress and anxiety you may have around taking tests.
