About José Manuel Valdez, Director of Human Resources
José Manuel Valdez
José brings a wealth of experience in both the for-profit and not-for-profit worlds to support us as we continue to strengthen the commitment to our mission of securing meaningful employment for individuals with disabilities and veterans. In this role, José will report to the CEO and has the responsibility for ICD human resources strategy, programs, and activities.
José brings over 25 years of deep and diverse knowledge and expertise in the field. Prior to ICD, Jose was the Human Resources and Finance Associate at Signature Theatre, a Tony Award winning non-profit theater. In addition, he had leadership roles in human resources at New York Life Insurance Company, United Hospital Fund of New York, The New York Times, Jazz at Lincoln Center and Cahners Publishing.
